KEYS TO PEACE - FLAG RAISING JUNE 14TH
AT TREASURE VILLAGE MONTESSORI CHARTER SCHOOL
MM 86.7 AT 9:30 AM. 

 

One of the lead-in  activities to the festival is our Prayer Flags for Peace project.  

Adults and children throughout the Keys, the U.S. and other countries are making personal peace flags and sending them to us for the festival’s opening ceremonies.  Our goal is to raise  5000 flags !!    We would love to receive lots of flags from the Lower Keys and Key West. 

There’s still time to plan a flag-making party and get others involved.  We’ve found that it’s more fun to make the flags as a group !!   The host / hostess provides blank fabric flags and markers. Everyone else brings food, drink and inspirational quotes about peace.  Let the creativity flow !!!
